What we're Building
It’s time to take robotic kitchens to the next level! At REMY Robotics, we’re building a new cooking framework, combining adaptive robotics to culinary engineering.
Our robotics kitchens use software-defined and adaptive robots, computer vision, artificial intelligence and mechatronics that can ensure constant quality, adaptability to any recipe, and operational effectiveness across an endless variety of food production scenarios.
Our solution is commercially proven: we operate our own B2C food brands across delivery platforms and serve customers daily and are now starting to partner with different actors of the food industry as a technology provider.
Our ambition is to power commercial kitchens of multiple partners in the food service industry.

About the role
As we are launching our activities in the US, we’re seeking a well-trained production chef to join and lead our growing team in our production facility -or Culinary Hub- in Miami. You will report to our Head of Operations and be a crucial part of our success at scale.
This role will participate in the production of recipes that will be sold in our robotic kitchen. You’ll lead and execute the daily production schedule to ensure a smooth and efficient operation from start to finish.
In addition, you will test, measure, and document everything to make it ready to be used by machines, robots, or our partners. You’ll spend most of your time in our culinary hub, a unique place where the chaotic environment of the kitchen meets the exactitude of academia.
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind the production of actual meals for thousands of people. There will be room to express your own culinary creativity by giving inputs to the food developers but the main focus is on developing and executing large volume meal production. Since our hub closely resembles an actual production kitchen, the role includes dealing with food suppliers and receiving and processing orders. Some heavy lifting may be required and of course, the kitchen needs to be left in good shape at the end of every day.

As such, your main tasks will include:
- Directing and executing the planning, preparation, production and packaging of a set of recipes each day,
- Supervising, mentoring and working alongside a team of Prep Cooks,
- Ensuring consistent, high standards of food quality are being maintained
- Managing budgets and suppliers: Receiving daily deliveries, checking quality and pricing ,
Uploading invoices and updating produce prices, Requesting payments
- Supervising final quality control of all dishes,
- Identifying training needs for staff and communicate to the HC,
- Maintaining high quality standards for organisation and cleanliness in the kitchen.

What will make you a great candidate
● You are an excellent cook and love what you do,
● You have 3+ years working in a commercial kitchen, catering, or scaled production
environment. Experience with a production kitchen preferred is a plus,
● You are able to maintain rigorous, high quality, food safety standards,
● You have exposure to managing inventory, cost of goods and overall control of financials,
● You want to work on something truly world-changing And have a strong interest in
technology and the ability to learn on new culinary technology,
● You are true team player and have experience mentoring and training Team members
● You have a curious mind and the drive to figure stuff out on your own
● You have an humble attitude and willingness to navigate uncertainty
● You have an excellent spoken and written English
